Dr. Bailey has been asked to chair a one day session in November 2012 at the American College of Phlebology Annual Congress meeting in Westin, Florida. Dr. Bailey will be speaking on incorporating Aesthetics into a Modern Vein Care practice. In addition, he will be inviting other guest speakers from around the world to speak on this topic.

In addition to our 3 rapidly growing practices, Dr. Bailey has found the time to co-write with his mentor Dr. Angelo Cuzalina a chapter in a 740 page text book titled "Advanced Surgical Facial Rejuvenation". Dr. Bailey's chapter is "Cosmetic Surgical Rejuvenation of the Neck". The book was published in December of 2011.

Congratulations to Dr. Bailey who was just elected to the Cosmetic Surgery Foundation Board of Trustees at this year’s American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery convention! This group is made up of 10 cosmetic surgeons from around the country. Dr. Susan Obagi is a member of this elite group and is the foundation’s president. The foundation is committed to the advancement of the science of cosmetic surgery and the enhancement of patient safety and trust.

This April Dr. Bailey, along with 50 vein specialist from around the world, will be attending a special ‘by invitation only’ meeting in Sedona, Arizona to discuss Modern Vein Care.

Dr. Bailey has been asked to again chair the Venous section at the 2012 American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Scientific Meeting in Las Vegas. The meeting will be in January at Cesar’s Palace. Dr. Bailey will be presenting two talks on modern vein care. He has also invited several nationally and internationally recognized speakers to make presentations at the meeting.

Dr. Bailey and his mentor, internationally known cosmetic surgeon Dr. Angelo Cuzalina, have written a surgical textbook chapter on "Rejuvenation of the Aging Neck". The book will be published in early 2011 and is entitled "Facial Rejuvenation".

Also in the picture is Dr. Tony Mangubat a Seattle Cosmetic Surgeon and Dr. Joe Niamtu (my other mentor). Dr Niamtu is also an internationally recognized Cosmetic Surgeon who published the definitive textbook on Facial Cosmetic Surgery in August 2010. The rhinoplasty chapter was written by Dr. Cuzalina.

Our Hawaii practice continues to grow on the Big Island. Our new office in Waimea should be open in October. We now have 5 employees in Hawaii and starting in October, Triple Board Certified Cardiovascular Surgeon and Phlebologist Dr. Randy Juleff will begin working with us on the Island.
