VASER® (ULTRASOUND ASSISTED) LIPOSCULPTURE

LipoSelection by VASER® combines new patented technology with advanced surgical techniques to gently dissolve and remove excess fatty tissue from the abdomen, hips, “love handles,” “saddlebags,” thighs, arms, back, knees, neck and chin. The LipoSelection procedure uses ultrasound energy to eliminate fat while leaving nerves, blood vessels and connective tissue largely undisturbed. Without damage to this tissue, patients experience little pain and achieve much smoother results than with traditional liposuction.

Laser Liposculpture

Laser liposculpture is an advanced procedure used to remove localized areas of fat from the body. This procedure offers patients many benefits over the traditional liposuction procedure, as it first heats fat cells and causes them to liquefy with laser energy. The liquefied fat is then easily removed from the body through a cannula. The laser also targets the skin in the treated area, causing it to tighten and conform to the new contour of the body.

Liposuction

The most popular cosmetic surgery procedure in the U.S., liposuction sculpts the body by removing undesirable fat that has not responded to diet and exercise from areas such as the abdomen, waist, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, chin, cheeks, neck and upper arms.

Shape and beauty

Local anesthesia or general anesthesia may be used, and the procedure can last anywhere from one to five hours, depending on the amount of fat being removed.

Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)

Abdominoplasty helps to flatten and shape the abdomen and waist by removing excess fat and skin and tightening muscles. The best candidates have pockets of fat or loose skin that haven’t responded well to diet and exercise. The procedure takes approximately two to five hours and can be performed with general anesthesia or local anesthesia with a sedative. With a balanced diet and regular exercise, results are long-lasting.

Mini-Tuck

Partial abdominoplasty, or a mini tuck, is similar to the regular tummy tuck procedure, except it involves a shorter incision and the skin is only lifted to the navel, which does not have to be moved. This procedure is ideal for patients who need just a little improvement in order to reach their desired results.

You can discuss the differences between these procedures, as well as weigh their benefits and risks with your doctor in order to decide which procedure is best for you.

Upper Arm Lift

Brachioplasty, commonly known as an upper arm lift, attempts to procure a more natural and youthful look by removing the fat and excess skin hanging down from the underarms. This is most commonly requested by aging women, but some men opt to have this procedure as well. An arm lift is often performed on post-bariatric surgery patients who have lost huge amounts of weight in a short amount of time. The procedure helps to relieve patients’ self-consciousness in wearing short sleeves or otherwise showing their arms.

Thigh Lift

A thigh lift is performed to remove excess skin and fat from the upper legs. Candidates typically suffer from loose, inelastic skin after extreme weight loss due to diet, exercise or bariatric surgery.

Because of this, the procedure is often combined with others such as breast lifts, facelifts and arm lifts to retain an attractive body proportion. An incision can be made in the inner or outer thigh and may involve lifting the buttocks along with the thigh.

Buttock Lift

A buttock lift trims excess skin from the buttocks and produces a firmer contour by lifting the buttock, sculpting it with liposuction, enlarging it with implants or fat, or any combination of the three. Buttock surgeries take into consideration the size, shape and skin quality of your buttock, as well as the qualities that you desire after surgery. A lift is most often recommended after a large amount of weight loss, when there may be loose or excess skin.

Complex Hernia Repair

A hernia occurs when tissue or part of an organ, usually the intestines, protrudes through the abdominal wall. Hernias do not heal on their own. Among the most common procedures in the U.S., hernia surgery pushes the protruding tissue back into place and repairs the weakened or torn muscle that allowed it to pass through. This alleviates pain and corrects or prevents the occurrence of more serious problems.

Labiaplasty

Labiaplasty reduces large labia or reshapes uneven labia, improving their appearance and reducing associated discomfort. During the labiaplasty procedure, the surgeon trims excess labial tissue and recreates the edges of the labia with a natural-looking color and shape, improving the appearance of the vagina and enhancing self-confidence.

Post Bariatric Body Contouring

Body contouring after weight loss surgery can help reduce excess skin and fat and also restore tightness and elasticity to the skin. After major weight loss, certain areas of your body may sag and appear misshapen, masking the changes your weight loss has provided.

These areas, such as the face, neck, arms, breast, abdomen, buttocks, and thighs, can be easily improved through multiple procedures that will lift and sculpt your new and improved body.
